Currently, Boudreaux is studying at the University of Georgia for a Masters in Trombone Performance, with his primary teacher Dr. Joshua Bynum.
As a composer, Eli’s works are primarily written for chamber music settings. He draws inspiration for compositions based on his experiences as a performer and from his fellow musician colleagues. The first volume of his song cycle “American Poets”, for soprano and piano, was premiered in the summer of 2023 at the Collaborative Piano Institute Summer Music Festival. Eli has been invited to attend the Vienna Contemporary Composers Festival, in collaboration with the Vienna Summer Music Festival, for the summer of 2024, where the Mivos Quartet will premier his second string quartet.
